Whether you’re staying in Puerto Natales or Torres del Paine, this adventure is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the beauty and tranquility of Patagonia.
Pick-up Time
- From Puerto Natales: 8:30 AM.
- From Torres del Paine: 9:00 AM.
Excursion Details
- Approximately 6 hours of fishing on the water.
- 8 hours total including transport.
- Lunch included with wine and craft beer.
- Drop-off: usually around 5:00 PM, but we can stay longer on the river upon request.
Patagonian Fly Fishing Destinations (you can enjoy one of these places)
- Lake & Lagoon Fishing: enjoy excellent opportunities to catch resident Brown Trout and Coho Salmon. This is a boat-based experience (weather permitting), as we avoid fishing in windy conditions to ensure the best experience.
- Serrano River Fishing: renowned for its Salmon, Sea-run Brown Trout, and resident trout, the Serrano River offers exciting challenges with varied conditions, providing an unforgettable experience for fly fishing enthusiasts.
- Spring Creek & Streams: these crystal-clear creeks are perfect for dry flyfishing and large terrestrials like beetles, using iconic flies such as Fat Albert and Chubby Chernobyl. Expect beautiful resident Brown Trout that fight hard on 5- or even 6-weight rods, making every catch thrilling and rewarding.
- Penitente River Fishing: this river is excellent for resident Brown Trout, and later in the season (March–April), it’s ideal for Sea-Run Brown Trout. This medium-sized river accommodates classic fishing styles, perfect for dry fly and streamer fishing, and its diverse conditions make it a versatile and exciting option for anglers.

Day 1 — Day 1
Full-Day Fly Fishing Itinerary
Patagonia – Puerto Natales / Torres del Paine
Morning – Start of the Adventure
- 08:30 a.m. Pick-up from your accommodation in Puerto Natales
- 09:00 a.m. Pick-up from your accommodation in Torres del Paine
- Scenic transfer to the selected fishing area through iconic Patagonian landscapes.
- Meet your guide, gear fitting, and a short safety and technique briefing.
Fly Fishing Experience
- Approximately 6 hours of fishing on the water, guided by a professional bilingual fly-fishing guide.
- Exclusive access to private waters and Patagonian estancias.
- Depending on weather conditions and the day, you will enjoy fishing at one of the following locations:
Fly Fishing Destinations
- Lakes and Lagoons
- Fishing is done from a boat (weather permitting). These waters offer excellent opportunities to catch brown trout and resident coho salmon. We avoid fishing on windy days to ensure the best possible experience.
- Serrano River
- Famous for salmon, sea-run brown trout, and resident trout. The Serrano River offers varied conditions and exciting challenges, making it an unforgettable destination for fly-fishing enthusiasts.
- Creeks and Small Streams
- Crystal-clear waters ideal for dry fly fishing and large terrestrial patterns such as beetles, using iconic flies like the Fat Albert and Chubby Chernobyl. Expect strong, beautiful resident brown trout, typically fished with 5- or 6-weight rods.

- Excellent for resident brown trout and, later in the season (March–April), sea-run brown trout. This medium-sized river is perfect for classic fly-fishing techniques, including dry flies and streamers, offering a versatile and exciting experience.
Lunch in Nature
- Picnic-style lunch included, enjoyed in a stunning natural setting.
- Includes wine and craft beer, along with snacks and beverages.
Afternoon – Return
- Final fishing session and wrap-up of the day.
- Return to your accommodation around 5:00 p.m.
- (The day can be extended if requested, allowing more time on the river.)
