Once checked in, if you have a private vehicle, you will need to return to the main road, turn right, and drive for about two minutes to the next parking area near the Pingo cafeteria. From there, we will begin a 40-minute walk, crossing the bridge located just past the cafeteria, entering a fascinating forest, and walking along the tranquil Grey Beach until we reach the boat, located at the end of the beach. The total distance from Hotel Lago Grey to the catamaran is approximately 3 kilometers (1.5 km by vehicle and another 1.5 km on foot).

You will board a modern and comfortable boat, where you can delight in the spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. In the distance, you will see radiant blue icebergs floating serenely in the grey waters as you approach the imposing Grey Glacier, the majestic starting point of the Southern Patagonian Ice Fields. The scenery will take your breath away, offering unique and unforgettable views.

At 11:45 am, you will arrive at Refugio Grey, where you will disembark to set sail again at 12:00 pm, continuing the journey towards Grey Glacier. If you are lucky, you may hear the thunderous sound of ice chunks breaking off from the glacier and splashing into the water. All of this will be accompanied by a delicious pisco sour or calafate sour, made with ancient glacial ice.
