Classic Winter W Trek – Torres del Paine

Start: Day 1 – Pick-up from Puerto Natales airport or accommodation.

End: Day 6 – Private transfer to Puerto Natales airport.

Approximate duration: 6 days / 5 nights.

This program is designed for travelers seeking a complete winter trekking experience in Torres del Paine National Park, exploring the most iconic sections of the W Trek accompanied by a private guide throughout the entire expedition.

Your adventure begins on arrival day with a private transfer from Puerto Natales Airport to Garden Domes Cabins, where you will stay in a comfortable private double room surrounded by Patagonian nature. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and an introductory briefing about the itinerary and trekking conditions.

On Day 2, we begin our journey into Torres del Paine National Park with the Grey Glacier Navigation. During this experience, you will sail among massive blue icebergs while enjoying spectacular views of Grey Glacier and the surrounding Patagonian landscapes. Afterwards, we will begin the guided trek from Refugio Grey to Refugio Paine Grande through trails surrounded by lakes, mountains, and native forests.

Day 3 is dedicated to exploring the famous French Valley, considered one of the most breathtaking sections of the W Trek. Along the trail, you will enjoy panoramic views of the Paine Massif, hanging glaciers, and native forests covered by Patagonia’s winter scenery. After the excursion, we return to Refugio Paine Grande.

On Day 4, we exit the park through the Carretas Trail, a less-traveled route offering incredible views of the Patagonian steppe and open landscapes. At the end of the trek, a private transfer will take us back to Puerto Natales, where you will spend the night once again at Garden Domes Cabins.

Day 5 features one of Patagonia’s most iconic hikes: the trek to Base Torres. This trail crosses forests, rivers, and glacial valleys before reaching the famous viewpoint overlooking the granite towers rising above a glacial lagoon.

Finally, on Day 6, enjoy breakfast before your private transfer to Puerto Natales Airport.

Throughout the program, you may leave your main luggage at our base in Puerto Natales and trek only with the essential gear needed for each day.
