There is electricity in all sectors, the plugs are 220 V . The times and sectors in which you can use the service must be consulted at reception.

Is it possible to use stoves in all campsites?

Accepted Answer

It is possible, but not in all campsites. Each campsite, with the exception of Camping Chileno, has an area enabled for the use of a stoves, you must bring all the implements. Due to the high risk of forest fire, the use of stoves in the Chilean sector is prohibited.

Is it mandatory to book accommodation inside Torres del Paine National Park in advance?

Yes. To hike the W Trek or the O Circuit in Torres del Paine National Park, you must have confirmed bookings for all campsites or refugios along your itinerary before entering the backcountry. Access to multi-day trekking routes is not allowed without prior reservations, and park authorities check bookings at control points. It is recommended to book 8 to 6 months in advance , especially during high season.

What is the difference between a refugio and a campsite in Torres del Paine National Park?

A refugio offers beds in shared rooms with bedding, hot showers, electricity, and meal services (full board or half board). A campsite can be: Fully equipped : includes a pre-pitched tent, sleeping bag, and sleeping pad. Basic : only the space to set up your own tent. Campsites also have access to bathrooms and hot showers, and campers can purchase the same meal services available at refugios. Fully equipped campsites are a great middle-ground option between comfort and price.
